Curator's note: The above screen shot presents a Palestine poster under the rubric "Rhetoric on Violence". The ADL text/categorization is an attempt to suggest that by posting, re-tweeting or reproducing Palestine posters from 30, 40 or more years ago is tantamount to calling for violence against Jewish people in the present. Would that mean that quoting a New York Times article on the same subject from 30 or 40 years ago would be equally problematic for ADL? 

How does ADL explain the specific quality of a Palestine poster from the past that makes it "inciteful" in the present?
